Service Deliverables
Printing SA has partnered with GSM Law to provide its members with the following list of Services deliverables
- Development of a product that assists Printing SA members with regulatory and compliance obligations under POPIA and related statutes in South Africa.
- Quality assurance on the Product, including further developing the Product in the event that there are further developments in the related South African law.
- Development of a product that assists Printing SA members with regulatory and compliance obligations under POPIA and related statutes in South Africa (the "Product").
- Assisting Printing SA with advice, training, and related services to ensure that they are able to properly execute their obligations to members who have purchased the Product.
POPIA Services
The Product shall cost R10,500 ex. VAT per product purchased and consists of the following:
- Information Officer Checklist to achieve compliance.
- Impact assessment questionnaire to assist with analysis of compliance and identify specific organisational gaps to be filled.
- Generic Privacy Policy (to be published on member’s website once tailored by the member for its own needs).
- Generic PAIA Manual with Request Form (to be published on member’s website once tailored by the member for its own needs).
- Standard Third-Party Processor Agreement in respect of POPIA.
- Template Security Compromise Policy.
- Consent and Withdrawal of Consent forms for future data subjects.
- Guideline on Notifications to existing customers.
- Guideline for notifications to existing customers.
- Template consent clauses that persons who purchase the Product may use for employment contracts.
- One of the following, consisting of two (2) hours
of actual time spent by GSM as follows:
- Training and Guidance, consisting of the following:
- An hour-long training session with the company’s designated Information Officer, which will include a basic overview of POPIA and guidance on the completion of the impact assessment questionnaire.
- Access to one hour of consulting time with a GSM POPIA expert, who may assist by answering specific questions from the member, with tailoring any documents listed under clause 1 to 11 above, with drafting any additional documents required, and / or registering the member’s Information Officer.
- Feedback on Impact Assessment Questionnaire, consisting of two hours spent considering the member’s feedback on the impact assessment questionnaire and advising on risk and potential solutions.
- Training and Guidance, consisting of the following:
Should GSM be required to engage any member for longer than two hours, such engagement will be outside the scope of the Product as outlined above. In such instance, the member will be required to engage GSM in accordance with its standard terms and conditions and such relationship will be between GSM and the member, as a client of GSM.
